A parents journey can be a difficult one.
At PBS4 we are mindful of this, parents come to us with a wealth of experience and insightful knowledge. So when one of our parents suggested we hold a regular coffee morning we jumped at the opportunity. Families are a valued part of our team and we respect and welcome this.
Being open and transparent is important to us. We believe in working together has the best outcomes for all.
PBS4 now hold a monthly coffee morning to offer a chance to meet other parents in a relaxed atmosphere. This invite is also open to our team members, people we support, and people interested in supporting people with learning disabilities.
We have begun starting the coffee mornings with a topic to open up a discussion. Ideas are welcome.
